Ijuuin Taiichirou is a character in The Parallel of Haruhi Suzumiya. He appears to be a wealthy young man, chaperoned by at least two white-clad crew members.
In reality, he appears to be some form of humanoid interface, working with Mikoto Misumaru. The two appear to be interested in Haruhi Suzumiya and sometimes show hostility to the SOS Brigade.
He has demonstrated the following powers:
- Agility: He can move with startling speed.
- Bilocation: He can create at least one duplicate of himself.
- Data jurisdiction: He can create a warped space similar to the Data Overmind ability, but Yuki Nagato can break into the space.
- Energy Attack: He can create and fire red projectiles, which Nagato can deflect.
- Force Field: Again color-coded red, which Nagato can counter with her own.
- Uniform Transformation: He can change his business outfit to a sci-fi purple ensemble.
