Kouyouen (光陽園学院) is an all-girls school for the rich and famous. It has a high university entrance rate.

Taniguchi, a student of North High, claimed he found a girlfriend there in December of year 0, shortly before The Disappearance incident occurred. The student turned out to be Kuyou Suou.

Alternate AcademyEdit

In an alternate reality created by Yuki Nagato, the school was co-ed and specifically designated for students with advanced academic abilities. Haruhi Suzumiya and Itsuki Koizumi attended it.
