The Supernatural Phenomenon Research Club is a club at North High that Haruhi Suzumiya had thought would be interesting to join, but turned out that it was nothing special. Haruhi goes as far as to say that they were a 'bunch of occult freaks', suggesting that Haruhi prefers certain supernatural phenomena over others.
