Suzumiya Haruhi no Gyakuten 3 Boxart

Suzumiya Haruhi no Gyakuten 3 (涼宮ハルヒの逆転3, The Turnabout of Haruhi Suzumiya 3) is a Japanese doujin game made by CUBETYPE and released in 2008. It's gameplay is based on the Ace Attorney series , and is the final game in the Suzumiya Haruhi no Gyakuten series.


The game is split up into five cases. The game has two gameplay modes, investigation sequences where the player controls Kyon and must navigate collecting clues and information, and trial scenes where the player controls Haruhi.

The purpose of the trial scenes is to prove your client innocent. You have to cross-examine witnesses by pressing their testimonies and presenting evidence that contradicts their statements. The player is given a limited number of chances, and if they present the wrong evidence too many times, the game will be over and their client will be pronounced guilty.

Like the previous games, Haruhi, Emiri, Ms. Mori, return to reprise their respective roles of defense attorney, prosecutor, and judge, the game introduces yet another foe, Mr. Arakawa, who in this game parodies Godot from the Ace Attorney series, complete with visor and coffee addiction.

Aside from Mr. Arakawa, the game introduces three more characters exclusive to this game, those being Taniguchi, the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, and Asakura. The overarching story is about attempts on several sudent's lives, and the remergance of Ryoko Asakura.
